Job Description Mō te tūnga | About the role As Digital Communications Adviser,you'lllead the development and delivery of Taranaki Regional Council’s digital communicationsprogramme.From managing major website and intranet projects to creating engaging digital content and leading digital communications projects,you'llhelp shape how our communities connect with the Council online. Using analytics and audience insights,you'lldrive continuous improvement across our digital channels, helping our communities accesstimely,relevantand engaging information. Your key responsibilities include: Manage andoptimisethe Council's website and intranet, ensuring accessibility, functionality and quality standards are maintained Lead delivery of digital communications projects Lead website and intranet development initiatives,identifyingopportunities for improvement and coordinating enhancement projects Create engaging digital content, including website copy, multimediacontentand visual storytelling assets Use analytics,insightsand best practice to continuously improve digital performance and audience engagement Manage relationships with website service providers and support the delivery of keyorganisationalcampaigns and initiatives. Experience working with content management systems Knowledge of website development, userexperienceand digital accessibility principles Experience ofusing analyticsand reportingtools such as GoogleAnalytics,Data Studiotomonitorperformance and inform decision-making. Strongorganisationaland project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Video production,photographyor multimedia content creation skills would be highly desirable. Most importantly,you'llbe a collaborative team player who enjoys finding better ways of doing things and is excited about the opportunity to help deliver a thriving Taranaki through great digital communications.
