Qualified Mechanic Required

We are a very busy and well established (1984) workshop in Otahuhu, Auckland. We take pride in our quality of workmanship and service to our entire customer base. The workshop carries out all general automotive servicing and repairs, warrant of fitness, engine management, trouble shooting and diagnostics. Vehicles range from all types of passenger vehicles, light commercial utes and vans to small trucks, fleet servicing and private vehicles. We now require an experienced automotive technician to carry out all types of work as above and be able to assist in supervising our small team. A current W.O.F authority is preferred but not essential. The successful applicant will Have a current full NZ drivers license Have all relevant automotive qualifications Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in NZ workshop environment Be able to work unsupervised Be good with people and staff Be competent in all aspects of engine management and trouble shooting Be able to diagnose and repair all general mechanical faults Be well presented and have an honest and reliable work ethic Be able to speak and write excellent English in order to communicate with customers and record job sheets Have excellent attention to detail be willing to undertake a pre-employment police check and drug test Remuneration is negotiable by experience and will be discussed upon successful application.
