Stainless Steel Fabrication Apprentice

Are you keen to learn? Do you like being busy with lots to do? Would you like to learn about fabricating, welding, polishing, cleaning and finishing Stainless Steel Items? We are a small team and need someone who works with care and commitment. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow, with a friendly team who like to do their best. You will be strong and fit and able to lift heavy items. You will learn to drive a forkhoist and pack large stainless steel items so they are secure. You will learn how to make stainless steel items look amazing. You will be working with large processing baths and lifting machinery. You will be responsible for keeping areas tidy and organised, completing tasks on time and to a high standard. You may already have welding and fabrication training and experience. You will be the person who follows things through and makes sure they happen, you will like a tidy and organised environment. You will be careful and accurate in your work. One side of our business manufacturers Stainless Steel Pipe for plants, such as those used in the dairy industry, wineries and water treatment. And the other side of the business offers customers a specialised stainless steel surface treatment process to help prevent corrosion and make their items look great.
