Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity On a day to day basis, you will be working in a local school/s setting, working with a case load of families, providing early intervention and preventive social work services to vulnerable children and teens; and their whanau. This includes individual and group work, and using our strengths-based, multi-systemic approach to encourage positive and lasting change. This role is 20 hours per week - hours will be determined between school/s and service. Ngā pūkenga kei a koe I Your Skills and Experience A tertiary level degree, majoring / specialised in Social Work Registration with the Social Workers Registration Board Full, clean NZ driver licence, and a reliable vehicle Experience working as a Social Worker Advanced interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, their families, the local school and your colleagues Excellent ability to maintain professional boundaries, meet KPI's and adhere to practice requirements Confident, working knowledge of Tikanga Maori; and commitment to working with Tangata Whenua Diversity & Inclusion at PSN We are committed to creating a diverse work place where you can look forward to feeling included and valued for your contribution.
