Civil Project Manager | Relocate to Wanaka We are partnered with a well-established civil contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a major land development project in Wanaka. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality civil projects, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a project while enjoying everything Central Otago has to offer. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day delivery of a large-scale land development project from commencement through to completion. Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams to drive project performance. Monitor project costs, budgets, claims, and financial reporting. Manage variations, contracts, and client relationships. Ensure all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met across the project. Lead site meetings, toolbox talks, and project reporting. The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil construction, earthworks, land development, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of project programming, financial management, and contract administration. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders. Sound knowledge of New Zealand construction contracts and project delivery practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage project teams. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. A proactive and solutions-focused approach. Current New Zealand driver's licence.
