You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation works across commercial and high-end residential projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, NZ Building Code requirements, and ESM quality standards. European Stone Masons Ltd is seeking a skilled Natural Stone Installer with proven experience in façade cladding systems, interior stone tiling, and waterproofing applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installation works across commercial and high-end residential projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, NZ Building Code requirements, and ESM quality standards. Key Responsibilities Install natural stone façade cladding systems (mechanical fix and adhesive systems) Install interior stone tiling to floors, walls, bathrooms, and feature areas Carry out substrate preparation and surface levelling Install waterproofing membranes in accordance with manufacturer specifications and NZ standards Interpret shop drawings, set-out details, and installation schedules Ensure alignment, joint consistency, and level tolerances are achieved Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Carry out quality checks prior to handover Maintain site cleanliness and safe working practices Comply with all Health & Safety requirements. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2+ years’ experience in natural stone installation Experience with façade cladding systems (rail systems advantageous) Strong interior tiling experience (large format preferred) Waterproofing certification or demonstrable experience preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings High attention to detail and craftsmanship Understanding of installation tolerances and remedial control Physically fit and capable of handling stone safely Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
