As our Warehouse Team Leader, you'll lead a team responsible for ensuring products are received, picked, packed, and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll motivate your team, drive operational excellence, and foster a positive team culture while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Location: Wiri, Auckland Reporting to: Distribution Manager Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 5:00pm What you'll be doing As the Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day leadership and coordination of our outbound warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include: Providing day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and direction to permanent team members and temporary staff. Supervising and ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders, ensuring daily operational targets are achieved and all warehouse transactions are processed accurately. Managing daily order flow to achieve same‑day shipping wherever possible. Acting as the first point of escalation for urgent or non‑routine customer requests, including priority freight and special deliveries. Supporting stock management activities, stock accuracy, and annual stocktakes. Representing the company professionally while delivering outstanding customer service by communicating with customers (face‑to‑face & email). What we're looking for We're looking for an experienced warehouse leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering exceptional service. Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse or distribution team. Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operations. Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. High levels of numeracy and the ability to work accurately under pressure. A commitment to workplace health and safety. An OSH Forklift Licence -Reach, Stock-picker & Counterbalance (highly desirable).
