Adecco is proud to partner with a leading national facilities and infrastructure services provider to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager based in Wellington. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of facilities upgrades, asset renewals, and capital works projects within a highly regulated environment. Senior Project Manager | Wellington Lead complex infrastructure and facilities upgrade projects across critical public sector environments. About the Role As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of upgrade and installation projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. Projects may include building refurbishments, HVAC upgrades, electrical infrastructure, roof replacements, security enhancements, plant and equipment installations, and other critical asset improvement works. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, site teams, and technical specialists, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating project delivery, managing risks, tracking progress, and ensuring all documentation and governance requirements are met. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects from planning through to completion and handover. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Monitor project programmes, budgets, variations, and commercial performance. Review contractor documentation, methodologies, site safety plans, and quality assurance requirements. Conduct site visits to monitor delivery, quality, and compliance. Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and project updates to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong client relationships while proactively managing project risks and issues. Champion health, safety, and environmental best practice across all project activities. What We're Looking For Proven experience delivering construction, facilities, asset upgrade, or capital works projects. Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing subcontractors, project documentation, and compliance requirements. Sound understanding of health and safety, quality assurance, and project governance processes. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Background working within facilities management, construction, infrastructure, or maintenance environments. Relevant tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, project management, facilities management, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
