You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, gaining hands‑on experience while building your technical capability and professional confidence. What you’ll be doing: Supporting civil consulting engineering work across stormwater, wastewater, water supply, and roading infrastructure Assisting with the design of land development and commercial development projects Preparing design drawings, reports, and documentation for resource and building consent applications Contributing to infrastructure investigations, concept evaluations, and construction monitoring Carrying out site inspections to help maintain quality control during construction Assisting with bulk earthworks, sediment control drawings, and volume calculations Working closely with clients, contractors, and other consultants as part of project delivery What we’re looking for: A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), or a similar qualification, or be close to completing your degree A good understanding of software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Word, and Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach when dealing with clients and contractors Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire to grow as an engineer A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture A full, clean NZ driver’s licence and the right to work in New Zealand with no restrictions #J-18808-Ljbffr
