About theTeam/Service/ Location This casual pool role requires you toutilise your knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute carenursing to provide quality care and support. As a Health Care Assistant, you will bepart of our dedicated nursing environment with full support. Your role is towork within the team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one-to-onepatient therapeutic observations and other tasks as directed. About you You will have a mature outlook, theability to get on with a wide variety of people as well as excellentcommunication skills. You will also have the ability to work in a flexible andmethodical manner, demonstrate honesty and reliability, and use appropriateinitiative. Experience within the health sector isrequired, and you will ideally hold a NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate inHealth and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, or equivalent, or be willingto study toward.
