We're on the hunt for a Tour Designer to join our tight-knit crew in Hamilton and help shape the itineraries that keep our travellers coming back for more. The role Reporting into our New Zealand Team Manager, our Tour Designer helps procure, develop and manage the products and supplier relationships that make our tours tick. You'll work alongside a supportive team where you can grow your skills, take ownership of your patch, and see the direct impact of your work on our travellers' experiences. This role suits someone who is early-to-mid career in travel, tourism or hospitality product — you don't need to have done it all before, but you do need to be curious, organised and proactive, with a real love for New Zealand and the wider Pacific. What you'll be doing Supporting the maintenance of existing supplier and product relationships Researching the market to spot new product opportunities and helping bring them to life Quality-controlling product with a strong focus on health & safety Preparing quotes and packaged product options for the sales and marketing team to promote and sell Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible rates Following our booking process to ensure smooth handover to operations and accurate supplier bookings Sharing new product knowledge and training with the wider team Assisting with contract administration — renewals, extensions and amendments — under the guidance of the Product Manager Keeping accurate records of supplier contracts and supporting documents Providing regular content and updates to the marketing team for campaigns and client communications Forwarding negotiated rates through to Finance & Administration to load into our supplier database Working closely with Operations to hand over confirmed tours and troubleshoot any on-road issues Executing tour operations tasks when required, per our defined process Managing customer relationships to a positive outcome when things don't go to plan Executing the call cycle set by the sales manager to keep customer relationships warm Looking at how we work and flagging where processes could be smarter What we're looking for Some experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or a related product/coordination role (ideal, not essential — attitude and aptitude matter most) Sharp attention to detail and comfort juggling several workstreams at once Clear, concise communication style — written and verbal Commercially minded, with a nose for a good deal Well organised with strong time management Systems-savvy and comfortable picking up new tools A natural team player who can also work independently Diplomatic, persuasive and calm under pressure Genuine interest in New Zealand as a destination — its people, places and stories What's in it for you Join a family-owned NZ business with 35+ years of heritage and an ambitious future A collaborative Hamilton-based team that genuinely enjoys what they do Real variety — no two days in tour design are the same Career growth into more senior product, contracting or operations roles as you develop The chance to shape the journeys that thousands of Kiwi and international travellers remember for a lifetime Unlock job insights Hirer responsiveness Salary match Number of applicants Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
