Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Transit Care Hub Ideal opportunity to step into your first Senior Nursing role Up to four full-time permanent roles on offer We are Te Whatu Ora, Te Toka Tumai, Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. We have an exciting new opportunity for you to join us and make a real difference in our service in the role of Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Transit Hub. This is a new role- workin gin a dynamic, supportive team environement that plays a crucial role in supporting patient flow across the whole organisation In this role you will be Providing senior leadership to the kaimahi (including RNs and HCAs) within the Transit Hub team, predominantly in the after hours space (afternoons, nights and weekends) Helping support the Transit care Hub team with efficient patient flow, safe staffing and clinical support Working collaboratively with the Transit Hub Charge Nurse, Hospital Operations Nurse Unit Manager and the Clinical Nurse Manager Team You will be key in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical nursing care to patients and their whānau On a daily basis you will be demonstrating clinical and professional leadership, leading and supporting our nursing teams in all aspects of nursing care management within the areas they are working for a relevant shift. If you are interested, this is a permanent contract with full time (40hrs a week) and part time options, working across a 7-day working week, am and pm shifts. We need Nurses to help us support our people within the Hospital Operations Directorate Hold a current New Zealand Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate (APC)? Minimum Level 3 practice or minimum of three (3) years experience in tertiary health care You will have proven management skills and a commitment to continually improve the quality of care provided at an operational level.
