Veterinary Technician / Assistant: Heifer Teat Sealing Description Veterinary Technician / Assistant: Heifer Teat Sealing at Large Animal Vet Clinic - Ashburton Vets. Duties and Responsibilities Assist the team with seasonal workload. Work at a team of 3-4 and assist on farm teat sealing heifers. Desirable Skills and Experience No formal training required. Good cattle handling skills and experience milking cows beneficial. You will need to be friendly, energetic and hardworking, quick learner and be physically fit. The hours are between Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm, so you will have weekends free. Pay rates based on experience $25-30/hr. Teat sealing season runs from Mid March to June. #J-18808-Ljbffr
