About the Role The Psychology Intern Coordinator will lead the psychology intern programme across the Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS). This dynamic and varied role requires you to work closely with the stakeholders throughout the sub-region ensure the successful running of the programme. You will work alongside the wider team to select, place and support the interns who are employed as part of the programme. This exciting role provides the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary collaborative environment to positively impact on health outcomes of people and communities in our region. About the Team/Service/Location MHAIDS is committed to continuous learning and development for all our staff. The MHAIDS Learning and Development team organises, coordinates, develops and delivers a wide range of programmes and learning activities to support workforce capability and to meet sector goals and requirements across the greater Wellington, Hutt and Wairarapa region. This role will be based in the Learning and Development team and work alongside the other programme coordinators who support the growth and development of the mental health and addiction workforce. About you The role requires the successful candidate to be; an experienced clinical psychologist (at least 5 years' experience), with current APC Hold a full clean driver's license have proven supervision skills as you will be providing supervision to interns committed to excellence in mental health practice and the development of others an excellent communicator who can forge strong relationships with stakeholders Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
