At Rotorua Lakes Council, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Stormwater Network Supervisor to join our Infrastructure & Assets team and help deliver essential stormwater services to our growing community.

Reporting to the Stormwater Manager, you will lead the day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery of stormwater maintenance and project work. You'll be responsible for scheduling resources, overseeing job sites, supporting contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You'll also provide on-the-job leadership, coaching, and guidance to support team performance and development.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring at least five years' supervisory experience in infrastructure, civil construction, drainage, or a related field, along with strong organisational skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to health and safety. A current Class 1 New Zealand driver's licence is required.

A key requirement for this position is formal, industry-recognised training. To be considered, you must hold a Level 4 Stormwater Reticulation qualification, be actively working towards achieving it, or hold a recognised Drainlaying qualification with proven experience in drainage installation and maintenance.

At Rotorua Lakes Council, you'll be part of an organisation that is customer-focused, community-driven, and committed to creating a positive future for Rotorua.

If you're ready to lead from the front and make a real impact in your community, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now.
