Programme Engagement Manager

Here is the opportunity for a savvy and creative Programme Engagement Manager who is up for the challenge to join the Programme team and who can hit the ground running. Formally reporting to our Core Banking Transformation Exec, operating as part of the wider Strategic Change team, the key focus of this role is to develop and execute a multi-channel communications and engagement strategy that delivers in the right way and at the right time, that builds understanding, commitment, and confidence within the programme and wider bank.

Acting as a change agent and trusted advisor to the business you’ll make sense of ambiguity, translating complex situations and change content into clear compelling narratives, in bite sized, simplified messages. You’re able to switch seemlessly between audiences, tailoring and scaling your approach to ensure the messages land. This is a long-term programme of change for the years ahead so there’s plenty to get your teeth into.

• A comms/engagement professional: ideally 3+ years in business transformation or strategy, in a complex operating environment

• Strong stakeholder engagement skill: you collaborate with credibility at all levels. Cross functional teamwork in a fast-paced programme or change environment

• Demonstrated success in quality design of engagement experiences, not just transmission of messages: you use modern tools and a creative approach to deepen engagement and understanding

\n
• A strong action orientation: you understand critical timeframes and deadlines and take initiative and accountability
\n
\n
• You’re a creative problem solver: you see opportunities and identify and mitigate risks and bring solutions to the table
\n
\n
• Natural curiosity: creativity balanced with pragmatism, and practiced ability to content switch and a passion for progress
