About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our contracts team in Christchurch. This is an immediate-start role, and we're keen to move quickly for the right person.

We're open on experience level — whether you're a few years into your career, freshly qualified, or in your final year of study (in which case we're happy to work around your schedule on a 3-day-per-week basis). What matters most is that you're motivated, eager to learn, and ready to get stuck in.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting with contract administration and documentation
\n
• Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, valuations, and progress claims
\n
• Supporting the team with procurement and tendering processes
\n
• Reviewing and managing subcontractor packages
\n
• Monitoring project costs and reporting on budget performance
\n
• Collaborating closely with project managers, site teams, and clients
\n

What We're Looking For:

• A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (completed or in progress)
\n
• Strong attention to detail and numerical ability
\n
• Good communication skills — written and verbal
\n
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
\n
• A proactive, can-do attitude
\n
• Ability to work with different nationalities
\n
