Are you an engineering graduate with a passion for solving technical challenges and an interest in the commercial side of engineering? HamiltonJet is seeking an Engineering Sales Support Graduate to join our Sales & Marketing team in Christchurch, and be a part of HamiltonJet’s Graduate Programme. In this role, you'll provide application engineering support for our world-leading waterjet propulsion products, working alongside our Global Sales Team to deliver technical and commercial solutions for customers around the world. From supporting boatbuilders and naval architects with technical specifications through to managing orders and delivery, you'll gain hands-on experience across the full sales lifecycle while developing your engineering expertise. What you’ll be doing: Provide application engineering support, including estimating vessel performance, waterjet sizing, engine and driveline matching, and preparing control system proposals. Assist with reviewing customer technical specifications, working closely with boatbuilders, naval architects, and our global sales network. Prepare quotations for direct sales and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements. Support the complete order process, including order entry, invoicing, Letters of Credit, and payment management. Coordinate customer factory visits and assist with sales support activities. Build strong relationships with internal teams and international customers while delivering exceptional technical and commercial support. What we are looking for: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Mechatronics Engineering. A foundational understanding of application engineering principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn. An interest in commercial sales and working with customers and our distributor network. The willingness and ability to travel as required. Why HamiltonJet?
