Registered Nurse, Māori Mental Health, MOKO Services West- Te Whatu Ora, Waitemata Permanent, Part-time position (24 hours per week) Monday to Friday Based in West Auckland About us Whītiki Maurea is a Māori clinical service within the Waitematā District Mental Health Services Group. We provide clinical treatment in mental health and addictions with a kaupapa Māori (cultural values and concepts) approach to tāngata whai i te ora Māori who are living in the Waitematā catchment area. About the role and About you We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse who would like to join our multidisciplinary team and who has the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to help develop our service. Your positive attitude, flexibility, strong clinical and administrative skills and proven ability to form good relationships with staff, tangata whai i te ora and their whānau will secure this interesting role. We have an expectation that you will have a commitment to Te Reo me ōna Tikanga. Applicants should be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment to tangata whai i te ora and nursing guidance to our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. In turn, we will provide a stimulating and supportive working environment.
