From insurance repairs and Healthy Homes work to carpentry, renovations and property maintenance, every day is different. We're looking for an experienced NZ Qualified Carpenter and Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) to join our team as our Lead Maintenance Builder . About the Role You’ll work across a wide range of residential and commercial maintenance projects, including: General carpentry and building maintenance Insurance repairs Roofing repairs Decks, fencing and exterior repairs GIB repairs and finishing Door and window repairs Bathroom and kitchen maintenance Healthy Homes remedial work Property improvements You’ll also: Lead by example on site. Mentor and support other team members. Scope potential jobs for quotes. Plan jobs efficiently before arriving on site. Deliver outstanding customer service. Maintain high workmanship standards. Complete site risk assessments. Complete job notes and photos using Tradify. Take ownership of your work from start to finish. About You To be successful you’ll have: Current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) licence. NZ Qualified Carpenter. Extensive residential maintenance and repair experience. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. A professional attitude with high attention to detail. A full New Zealand Driver Licence. A comprehensive set of professional trade tools suitable for maintenance building work. Confidence using a smartphone and job management software. You're someone who takes pride in your work, plans ahead, communicates well with customers and colleagues, and enjoys being part of a professional team that values quality over shortcuts. You take ownership, look for solutions rather than excuses, and genuinely care about delivering a quality result for every customer. What We Offer Competitive remuneration of $38-$45 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications and demonstrated ability. Exceptional candidates will be remunerated accordingly. Additional Requirements Applicants must: Have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Hold a current full New Zealand Driver Licence. Hold a current Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) licence.
