Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner will act as a key liaison between the finance department and other business units, providing financial analysis, insights, and support to drive informed decision-making and achieve business objectives. This is a full time 12 month fixed term position covering parental leave, working Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm and is based in Auckland. Responsibilities: Partner with different business units to understand their financial needs and challenges. Provide financial guidance, analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement Collaborate with business leaders to assist with budgets and forecasts. Assist with compilation of key strategic plans, policies and procedures Chartered Accountant, preferably qualified through an accounting firm. Previous experience working in a complex corporate environment is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex terms to all audiences. High level of computer literacy including the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) Experience with large FMIS (Finance1 / Technology1 preferred) Proactive and self-management skills essential Only suitable candidates will be contacted for interview and applications will be reviewed as they are received, therefore resulting in the role closing early if the right applicant is found.
