Junior Quantity Surveyor / Document Controller Argon Constructors Ltd – East Tamaki, North Island Junior Quantity Surveyor / Document Controller Argon is seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor / Document Controller to join our commercial construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build a strong foundation in Quantity Surveying within a supportive and experienced environment. You will work closely with our senior Quantity Surveyors across a variety of our projects, gaining exposure to all stages of construction – from tendering and pricing through to contract administration and project completion. The role has a strong focus on document control, where you will take ownership of project documentation across multiple projects. You will need to ensure accurate and efficient distribution and revision control. You will also assist with commercial tasks including tender preparation, measurement, cost management, and variation pricing. Initialappointment is a 12 month maternity cover with potential to transition to permanent role. Key Responsibilities Manage and track document revisions across multiple projects Distribute construction documentation to sites and subcontractors Review documentation changes and assist with pricing variations Assist with tender preparation, including measuring works and requesting subcontractor pricing Support cost management and contract administration on live projects Work collaboratively with the commercial and site teams to support project delivery About You Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Experience with document or project management systems (e.g. Aconex, Procore) is an advantage Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills A proactive, self motivated attitude with a desire to learn and progress What We Offer A supportive team environment with mentoring from experienced professionals Exposure to all stages of commercial construction projects Involvement in a diverse range of exciting projects Genuine opportunity to develop into a dedicated Quantity Surveyor role #J-18808-Ljbffr
