Our clients need supports because they are unwell, recovering from an injury or just needing a bit more help . Sometimes they need a companion or 'their person' to help them live their life and achieve their goals! If you: Are a support worker with home-based / community / disability support experience Have your own car and full driver license , The want to give back / care for others Have valid work rights in New Zealand L2, L3 and L4 Health Qualifications are essential If you have no Health Qualifications, your application may not be considered. The areas we are looking are as follows: Wanaka area and Surrounding towns. Shifts: We have about 2.5 hours a week. Florence would like a Support Worker available to pick up shifts, to cover sick leave and annual leave. Ideal Availability: Monday - Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm, working in the school hours etc. This would be beneficial. Once we get a Support Worker on-board, then Florence will be able to open Wanaka up for referrals. Work shifts can be around an 1 hour through to a full day or part time hours, depending on the needs of the clients, in and around the Wanaka area.
