Responsibilities Being part of the team on the mill floor, assisting in manufacturing requirements Ensuring accuracy of raw ingredient additives into the manufacturing process Loading and unloading trucks You will also have forklift endorsement Mōhou ake | About you You will be the hands and heart of the day-to-day operation of this site and active in solving issues and continuous improvement of the site and manufacturing operations. Job Requirements Your flexibility is essential — casual work means hours will vary based on operational demand Be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks Clean MOJ record Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand. Please note that the successful candidate will have to go through pre-employment checks before starting with us at Farmlands. These will include two references from your two most recent managers, a Ministry of Justice Check, proof of your right to work in New Zealand, a driver’s licence check and an ACC background check. For certain roles a drug and alcohol test, credit check and AML check may be required.
