Find out more about us at: https://www.verticalhorizonz.com The role Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Digital Systems Specialist plays an important role in supporting and improving VHNZ's technology environment. This role combines business support, systems administration, automation, project delivery and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with people across the organisation to improve processes, support digital adoption and help maintain a secure and reliable technology environment. No two days are the same. You might be troubleshooting an issue for a staff member, testing a new system improvement, building an automation, supporting a technology project, or helping improve security practices across the business. Key responsibilities Systems improvement and projects Support the delivery of system improvements, upgrades and digital initiatives. Assist with testing, implementation and user adoption activities. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and efficiency. Business systems support Provide support across Microsoft 365 and business applications. Troubleshoot system, application and user access issues. Contribute to the day-to-day operation of digital services. Automation and integrations Develop and maintain workflows, automations and system integrations. Support data quality, reporting and process automation initiatives. Document solutions and maintain supporting technical information. Technology and device management Support device provisioning, lifecycle management and asset tracking. Assist with Intune, Autopilot and mobile device management. Maintain software licensing and technology records. Security and governance Support cyber security monitoring, access management and compliance activities. Assist with incident response, audits and security reviews. Promote secure and effective use of technology across the organisation. Training and documentation Create user guides, knowledge articles and support materials. Assist in delivering training and digital adoption initiatives. Encourage confident and effective use of business systems. About you We're looking for someone who enjoys technology but can also communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation. You'll be a strong problem-solver who can work independently while also contributing positively to the wider team. To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: 1-3 years experience in an IT systems, infrastructure, support or development role. Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Teams and SharePoint. Experience with Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot or similar device management platforms. Knowledge of cloud platforms, networking and security concepts. Experience with scripting, automation or development tools such as PowerShell, Python, PHP or JavaScript. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience creating documentation and supporting end users.
