Water Reticulation Foreman

Are you an experienced Water Reticulation professional ready to step into a leadership role? We're looking for a hands-on Water Reticulation Foreman to lead a skilled field crew delivering maintenance, repairs and new installations across the Wellington region. This is an opportunity to join a well-established civil contractor where you'll have the autonomy to lead your team, manage day-to-day operations and play a key role in delivering essential water infrastructure projects. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and coordinating the Water Reticulation team while remaining actively involved on the tools. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, supervising and mentoring the Water Reticulation crew Planning and coordinating daily works to ensure projects run efficiently Carrying out maintenance, repairs and installation of water reticulation assets Ensuring all work meets customer expectations, industry standards and quality requirements Managing health, safety and environmental compliance on site Working closely with management to deliver contractual obligations Preparing monthly claims, dayworks and project documentation Coordinating water shutdown requests and associated documentation Locating and marking valves, mains, tobies and service connections Supporting other civil crews, including drainage, when required About You We're looking for a motivated leader who enjoys working alongside their team and takes pride in delivering quality work. You'll ideally have: Minimum 5 years' experience in water reticulation Previous experience leading or supervising field crews Strong knowledge of water infrastructure maintenance and installation Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high safety standards Sound understanding of productivity, quality and cost management Desirable Qualifications National Certificate Level 4 in Water Reticulation (completed or working towards) Confined Space certification First Aid Certificate ConstructSafe (or equivalent) Full New Zealand Driver Licence WTR endorsement What's on Offer Competitive hourly rate of $38-$48 per hour Overtime opportunities Permanent full-time employment Diverse and interesting infrastructure projects Supportive management team Opportunity to lead an experienced crew Long-term career progression within a growing business Applicants for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa. #J-18808-Ljbffr
