Positive People – Wellington Central, North Island Due to TMCo's ongoing success, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer, working in building services to join our Wellington team. You will be working with a strong team of NZ's leaders in the field of building services. We are GSAP, NABERSNZ Assessors, Home Star Accredited, EECA Partners, Climate Leaders Coalition signatories, Passive House skilled and so many more, including a dedicated in-house team of building services seismic designers and IES energy modellers. You will be involved in a wide variety of work including hospitals, hotels, commercial, retail, government, hospitality, education, aged care, high-end residential and industrial projects throughout the country, from project conception through to completion. Your key responsibilities will consist of: Working within a supportive team, you will provide technical engineering expertise (specifically in the area of HVAC) to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Engineering design, coordination, review and construction monitoring of projects, including on-site observation. Ensure technical quality and completion within budget and on schedule. Developing solutions to varied and more complex issues. Client and stakeholder liaison. About You: 5 years+ mechanical (HVAC) engineering for building services, with a strong technical focus. Ideally experience working within the healthcare sector i.e. hospitals. Experience with on site visits and inspections a must. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including respect from and to contractors. Excellent communication abilities and are a team player. Comfortable meeting with our clients, attending design meetings, site observation and keen to grow the business with support from senior staff.
