Architectural Technician

There may be a bit of travel around the North Island to different projects and the occasional night away. Responsibilities: Software modelling using Revit. Produce and review detailed engineering drawings, sketches and specs. Work closely with draftsperson using Revit or BIM software ( ie Revizto) Communicating with clients Site visits on behalf of PattonAsBuilt and clients. Document site visits and draft site reports Collaborate with architects, builders and Building Inspectors. Collaborate and communicate with CAD techs, geotechnical engineers and Project Managers, Steel detailers and clients Build and maintain positive and professionals relationships with a range of stakeholders Essential requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience working as an architectural technician in NZ Understanding of and experience working with NZ Standards. Ability to read construction docs Intermediate to advanced Proficiency with Revit modelling (Particularly in architecture ) BIM Management experience Outstanding written and spoken communication skills - especially in technical writing and the ability to explain engineering concepts clearly. Architectural Degree A valid, clean NZ Driver's license Ideally you will have: Professional affiliations - Graduate member of EngNZ. 3D Scanning experience The Salary band is $75,000 to $85,000 depending on your relevant experience for a 40 hour week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
