Description Are you a corporate Talent Acquisition professional ready to broaden your HR experience?This 12-month fixed-term contract is a great opportunity to take the next step in your People & Performance career. Based at the Fletcher Building head office in Penrose with flexible working, the role lets you apply your recruitment delivery experience in a broader HR advisory and operational support environment. You’ll continue to draw on your talent acquisition strengths including stakeholder management, candidate care, recruitment coordination and process discipline, while gaining hands‑on exposure across the wider employee lifecycle. As People & Performance Advisor, you’ll support our Group Functions team with a mix of recruitment, HR administration, Workday processes, employment documentation, onboarding, offboarding, compliance and day-to-day people support. It’s a varied role where no two days will look exactly the same, and you’ll work closely with the P&P Manager and Senior P&P Advisor to help deliver a seamless employee and manager experience. What you’ll be doing Coordinating recruitment activity from job advertising through to interview scheduling, candidate communication, screening, reference checks and pre-employment checks Supporting hiring managers to deliver a professional and positive candidate experience Maintaining accurate employee data and documentation in Workday Supporting onboarding, offboarding and other employee lifecycle processes Preparing employment agreements, variation letters, promotion letters and other employment documentation Responding to employee and manager queries in a timely, professional and customer-focused way Supporting regular People & Performance activity such as reporting, policy administration, performance and remuneration cycles Contributing to P&P projects and continuous improvement initiatives What you’ll bring Solid recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally in a corporate environment Strong attention to detail and confidence working with employee information, systems and documentation A customer-focused approach and confidence working with managers, employees, candidates and external partners Good judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Confidence using Microsoft Office, with the ability to pick up HR systems quickly Exposure to HR administration and confidence using ATS and HRIS platforms would be beneficial A genuine interest in building a broader career in People & Performance Why this role?
