Tertiary Programmes Manager

Waikato Institute for Leadership & Sport Studies – Hamilton, North Island The purpose of this role is to promote, co-ordinate, and ensure effective deliver of WILSS tertiary programmes. You will report directly to the General Manager. The role is relatively autonomous so you will need to be a self-starter that keeps on top of the administrative and compliance tasks while keeping students at the forefront. Key responsibilities Maintain and evolve current tertiary programmes and resources, including but not limited to New Zealand Certificates at level 3 and 4; and Unit Standard and Skill Standard resources into schools Market tertiary programmes to potential organisations and learners Actively follow up on any enquiries about our tertiary programmes Deliver the NZ Certificate in Business (First Line Management) - Level 4 and the New Zealand Certificate in Leadership – Level 4 Verify Unit Standard and Skill Standard assessments for schools that have purchased our resources but do not have consent to assess Engage and support contracted facilitators to deliver the tertiary programmes when needed Perform systematic self-assessment of the tertiary programmes Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including but not limited to TEC, NZQA, and ISBs Lead the NZQA self-assessment, assessment and moderation, and programme monitoring processes Recruit students onto all tertiary programmes and monitor the enrolment process About you You will need to have teaching and/or adult education qualification and experience. You will need knowledge and experience with NZQA processes, especially self-assessment. You will need knowledge of online delivery of workshops as well as face to face delivery. Our ideal candidate would be an experienced tertiary educator that has worked if front of students and in the office doing resource development, moderation, and NZQA report preparation.
