CHEUNG KONG MEDIA NZ LIMITED- Auckland, North Island Cheung Kong Media is an independent creative studio based in Auckland, New Zealand, specialising in end-to-end brand and marketing solutions across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. We work across six core disciplines: brand identity & design, advertising & campaigns, content production, social media management, SEO optimisation, and event planning & promotion, guiding projects from initial positioning through to full launch. Our team takes a strategy-first approach to every project, prioritising considered, lasting work over rushed deliverables. Rooted in local insight but fluent in regional markets, we operate bilingually across English and Chinese-language audiences, building long-term brand assets that deliver both immediate cut-through and sustained relevance. Role Overview As a Marketing Manager at Cheung Kong Media, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives for our creative media studio. You will drive client acquisition, strengthen brand positioning, and maximise business growth across our core service lines—including brand identity, advertising, content production, social media management, SEO optimisation, and event promotion. Key Responsibilities 1.Direct the development of sales strategies and set sales targets to maximise revenue growth and foster long-term client loyalty across English and Chinese-language markets. 2.Lead the sales team in building and maintaining trusted relationships with new and existing clients, including managing contract negotiations and ensuring smooth onboarding processes. 3.Direct, evaluate, and refine marketing strategies aligned with the studio’s creative practice, driving visibility and engagement for our brand and service offerings. 4.Conduct regular market research and data analysis to measure campaign performance against predefined metrics, optimising initiatives for competitive cut‑through. 5.Establish new distribution networks and partnership opportunities for the studio’s services, expanding our reach across New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. 6.Assess the marketing potential of new service offerings, market segments, and collaboration opportunities to support business growth. 7.Establish organisational policies and procedures for sales and marketing operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with the studio’s multidisciplinary capabilities. 8.Determine competitive pricing schedules, discount structures, and service packages that balance profitability with market appeal. 9.Collaborate closely with creative teams (design, content, strategy) to align marketing initiatives with the studio’s brand identity, advertising, content production, social media, SEO, and event promotion capabilities. 10.Oversee the execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring they reflect our "strategy-first, crafted not churned" approach and deliver long‑term brand assets alongside short‑term results. Qualifications 1.A bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or other relevant tertiary qualifications is preferred. 2.At least five years progressive working experience in marketing, brand management or media-related roles. 3.Proficient in marketing tools, social media platforms and common office management software. 4.In‑depth knowledge of marketing theories, multi‑channel campaign procedures and industry regulatory standards. 5.Possess outstanding market analysis, campaign performance evaluation and problem‑solving abilities with a results‑oriented working attitude. 6.Good written and verbal communication skills, capable of coordinating efficiently with clients, creative teams and stakeholders, and cooperating well in cross‑functional environments.
