Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 24/08/2026, End Date: 16/12/2026 (Roll growth) Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts We have our next new entrant class opening mid Term 3, and we are now looking for a culturally responsive and relationship-focused teacher to join our team. Our new teacher will have an understanding of neurodiverse learners. You will have strong pedagogical practice and a growth mindset. We invite you to share how your strengths can enhance our vision of ‘Switched on Learners’. You will be part of our wonderfully collaborative Kākano team. Our staff are caring, fun-loving, supportive and child-centred in all that we do. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed New Zealand registered teacher.
