We're looking for a Technology Governance Analyst to join our Office of Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about governance, enjoys working across a variety of activities, building relationships with senior stakeholders, improving ways of working and making a genuine impact across a large and complex technology environment. About the Team The Office of Technology (OoT) plays a key role in enabling effective governance, decision-making and strategic alignment across Technology & Transformation. The team sits at the centre of many of ASB's most important technology conversations, supporting leadership reporting, governance forums, technology policies governance, strategic initiatives and executive-level decision making. Working closely with senior leaders across the division, the team helps ensure technology priorities are well governed, risks are appropriately managed, and decisions are supported by clear and meaningful insights. About the Role As a Technology Governance Analyst, you'll work across a broad range of governance, reporting, policy and operational activities that help keep Technology & Transformation running effectively. No two days are quite the same. You'll coordinate governance forums, support executive and board reporting, maintain governance processes and contribute to technology planning activities and identify opportunities to improve the way we work. This role offers unique exposure to senior technology leaders and provides an excellent platform for someone looking to further develop their governance, stakeholder management and business analysis skills within a technology environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate governance forums, committees and decision-making processes that support effective oversight across Technology & Transformation. Support the preparation of reporting, presentations and governance materials for senior leadership, executive and board audiences. Maintain and continuously improve technology governance frameworks and processes. Track governance actions, decisions, risks and outcomes to ensure accountabilities are met. Partner with stakeholders across technology, risk, finance and delivery teams to gather and analyse information. Identify governance gaps, risks and improvement opportunities, helping drive practical solutions. Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Support ad hoc requests and priority activities across the Office of Technology. About You You're naturally organised, proactive and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders. You enjoy bringing structure to complexity, can confidently manage competing priorities and take ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes. You're curious, adaptable and keen to continually learn, and you thrive in environments where collaboration, initiative and relationship building are valued. Whether your background comes from governance, risk, business analysis, project coordination, technology or a related field, you'll bring strong judgement, clear communication skills and a willingness to step in and make a difference. Skills and Experience Experience in governance, risk, compliance, business operations, project coordination, business analysis or a related discipline. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups and seniority levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to interpret information and identify meaningful insights. Proven planning, organisation and prioritisation skills. Confidence working with senior stakeholders and contributing to conversations that support decision-making. Experience coordinating meetings, governance forums, reporting activities or operational processes. Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on simplifying and improving ways of working. Ability to work collaboratively and influence outcomes across teams. Experience within a technology environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
