Maintenance Technician/Handyman

You will be responsible for daily repairs and maintenance ofrooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems and ensure facilities are maintained in good working order. Liaise with the management team on daily tasks to prioritize maintenance requirements for the Hotel. Deal with all plumbing, heating, and other maintenance issues on a daily basis and coordinate with sub-contractors when required. Focus onpreventive rather than reactivemaintenance programs keepingrecords on file. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Ensure all work carried out with a guest satisfaction focus Deal with all service and product guarantees and warranties. Carry out an inspection of public areas on a daily basis and attend to any problems. Skills & Attributes Basic engineering with knowledge of the workings of heating, plumbing, and construction Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize work Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service Well-groomed and presentable for our guests. Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must have the flexibility to work a range of hours depending on the needs of the hotel.
