Job Description Competitive Salary Package with Health Care Accommodation Allowance Work bus from Reefton and Greymouth We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance team above and underground. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the supervision, planning, and execution of electrical maintenance activities across underground and surface operations. Job Requirements Lead and supervise a team of electricians and electrical contractors. Coordinate and oversee electrical maintenance activities for underground and surface mining operations. Manage planned maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns efficiently. Ensure compliance with New Zealand mining regulations, electrical standards, and company safety requirements. Manage planned maintenance schedules and respond to breakdowns efficiently. Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Develop and maintain electrical maintenance documentation and reports. Assist with project work, installations, upgrades, and commissioning of electrical equipment. Mentor and develop team members to build capability and maintain a high-performing workforce. Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety by ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures in place. Actively participate in a healthy culture by ensuring prompt reporting of all incidents. Job responsibilities NZ Registered Electrician qualification (or recognised equivalent eligible for registration). Current Electrical Practicing Licence. Significant experience in mining, heavy industry, or processing environments. Previous supervisory or leadership experience within an electrical maintenance team. Strong knowledge of underground mining electrical systems and infrastructure. Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems. Sound understanding of statutory compliance and safety management systems. Excellent planning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
