About the Opportunity Sensors. Mobile apps. Dashboards. Decisions. We’re growing quickly and looking for a Junior Mobile Developer. You’ll work closely with our Senior Mobile Developer to build and evolve the Agora mobile app. You will: Ship features used in the field Learn how real products scale See your work go live quickly This role will be based in Hamilton, New Zealand. What You’ll Do Build and maintain features for the Agora mobile app Work primarily with Flutter and React (experience is helpful, not essential) Integrate with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Realtime Database) Implement real-time IoT sensor monitoring and push notifications Collaborate closely with our Senior Developer on architecture and best practice Translate product requirements into clean, reliable code Test, iterate, and improve performance and usability Who You Are You’re curious, proactive, and hungry to grow You communicate clearly and work well in a team You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment You take pride in writing clean, reliable code Your Strengths (What We’re Looking For) A completed degree in Computer Science Experience with Flutter and/or React is helpful, not essential 0-2 years of developer experience (internship, commercial or strong personal projects) Understanding of Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, or Realtime DB) A learner’s mindset, you don’t need all the answers Proactive and self-directed with strong attention to detail Bonus Points Exposure to IoT, SaaS, or data-driven products Familiarity with Git, APIs, or deployment pipelines Interest in ag-tech, hardware, or real-world problem solving Why Join Agora?
