Join our team we are looking to hire up to 30 Registered Nurses for our brand - new SAPU unit. About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the new Surgical Assessment and Planning Unit (SAPU), you will play a key role in providing high - quality, patient - centred care in a fast - paced, dynamic environment. SAPU is a new 28 bed shortstay surgical ward, including six dedicated assessment beds for acute surgical patients. The unit has been developed to support early surgical assessment, reduce delays to care, improve inpatient flow, and relieve pressure on Emergency Department and inpatient wards. Located at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, Hastings, the unit will be fully operational from August 2026 and is designed to improve patient flow and surgical outcomes.
