Job Description
Anexa Veterinary Services – Thames, North Island Ready for a role where your skills are valued, your days are varied, and your team feels like family? We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Veterinary Nurse to join our warm, supportive team in Thames, working 8am- 5pm Monday to Friday, and rostered Saturday mornings. At Anexa Veterinary Services, we’re proud to be a values-led business that puts people and animals first. With 11 clinics across the Waikato and Hauraki Plains, most of our clinics offer both companion animal and production animals services, however the Thames clinic is a companion only clinic. Joining a close-knit team that genuinely backs each other, you will work hard, while enjoying a laugh along the way. In Thames, you’ll also find the lifestyle to match—beautiful surrounds, an easy commute through to the beach, and a welcoming, close-knit community where people know and support one another, making it easy to feel at home while you are at work. We’re ideally looking for someone with 2+ years of veterinary nursing experience who is confident, capable, and ready to get stuck in. If you bring a calm head, a kind approach, and love being part of a busy clinic where each day offers something new, then you’ll fit right in. This is a hands-on, rewarding role covering surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, hospital care, patient admissions and discharges, equipment maintenance, and support in consults. You’ll also be a key part of the client experience—helping with enquiries, phone calls, and the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic. If you’re proactive, personable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect next step. In return, you’ll enjoy a genuinely supportive team, ongoing professional development, and the chance to build your career in a clinic where your contribution is recognised and valued every single day. Sounds like your kind of place? Upload a copy of your CV and Cover Letter stating how and why you are applying for our job. We’ll start considering applications as soon as they arrive and encourage you to get your application in quickly.
