With an established dealership in Northland, and recent expansion into Christchurch, we are looking to grow our team. Are you a practical, capable jack of all trades who enjoys variety and problem-solving? We're looking for a Workshop Technician to join our growing Christchurch team. This is a varied role where no two days will be the same. You'll work hands-on with premium caravans carrying out: Repairs, installations, and maintenance Accessory installs (diesel heaters, motor movers, solar panels, security systems) Fault finding and troubleshooting (including phone support) Basic plumbing and water systems Warranty, servicing and scheduled maintenance Vanari Caravans is a premium caravan brand experiencing strong growth across New Zealand. You'll work hands-on with premium caravans carrying out: Repairs, installations, and maintenance 12V wiring (lighting, brakes, solar) Accessory installs (diesel heaters, motor movers, solar panels, security systems) Fault finding and troubleshooting (including phone support) Basic plumbing and water systems Warranty, servicing and scheduled maintenance Our ideal candidate will come from a trade background, preferably with experience in electrics (12V/240V), gas, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, welding, or similar. You will also need to demonstrate: Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Confidence, efficiency, and happy to get stuck in Comfortable working alone or as part of a team Good attention to detail and time management Willingness to learn and upskill Clean NZ driver's licence Tech-savvy (phone/iPad-based workshop system) This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.
