PERSOL is proud to be recruiting on behalf of Programmed Facility Management, one of New Zealand's leading providers of facilities maintenance and asset management services. Due to an increase in workload, we're seeking an experienced Asset Coordinator / Junior Asset Manger for 6 months to support the Asset Management team across a diverse portfolio of schools and community facilities. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Facilities Management who understands how commercial buildings operate and can quickly become a valued member of the team. Working closely with the Asset Managers, you'll help coordinate asset information, support site inspections, maintain asset registers and assist with the delivery of asset management projects. This is primarily an office-based role, with travel to schools and community facilities to support asset inspections, audits and project support. About the Role You’ll play a key role in ensuring asset information is accurate, maintenance activities are well coordinated and projects continue to move forward. Your day could include: Coordinating and maintaining asset registers and asset information Supporting asset audits, inspections and condition assessments Visiting schools and community facilities to collect and verify asset data Assisting with maintenance planning and asset lifecycle activities Preparing reports and updating project documentation Coordinating information between contractors, facilities teams and internal stakeholders Monitoring project progress and following up outstanding actions Maintaining accurate records within asset management systems Supporting compliance reporting and documentation Assisting the Asset Manager with the day-to-day delivery of asset management programmes About You We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand the environment and confidently contribute from day one. Ideally, you’ll bring experience in: Facilities Management Property or Building Services Maintenance Planning or Scheduling Asset Coordination or Asset Administration Project Coordination within a technical environment You’ll also have: Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Experience managing technical information, databases or asset registers Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A practical, proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities A current full New Zealand driver’s licence #J-18808-Ljbffr
