Or someone who has relevant experience that would allow you to transition into a policy role? Come and join the Trade & Supply Chains policy team and support our work across trade facilitation, international regulatory cooperation, trade remedies, and supply chain policy. As a Policy Advisor, you will contribute to the development of practical, evidence‑based advice that advances New Zealand’s trade interests, supports resilient and inclusive supply chains, and helps businesses navigate complex international trading environments. Working closely with colleagues across government and with external stakeholders, you will help shape policy responses to emerging global issues, support international engagement, and translate technical trade and regulatory matters into clear, well‑reasoned advice for decision‑makers. Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills And Experience Required Be motivated to formulate high‑quality policy and regulatory advice Have a good base of experience in public policy as a Policy Advisor or transferrable skills from an advisory, legal or similar role Have undertaken studies in public policy, law, economics, finance or a related field Be a logical thinker and have a healthy level of curiosity Have the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver results Enjoy working on tricky problems, generating ideas and coming up with solutions Have the ability to build relationships with others and work collaboratively Have, or want to improve, your cultural capability and knowledge of te ao Māori, te reo Māori and how Te Tiriti o Waitangi informs our work Applications close on Tuesday, 11th August at 11.59pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
