SOFTWARE ENGINEERS - INTERMEDIATE & SENIOR We are seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to the development of advanced marine propulsion control technologies. Our Software Engineers take a lead role in product development lifecycles, from concept and design through to the creation, testing, and documentation of new and updated software, delivering high-quality solutions that support our world-leading marine technology. About the Role: Play a key part in researching, designing, and building software and control systems that power advanced marine propulsion technologies, taking concepts from early exploration through implementation and integration. What You’ll Bring to the Team: Deep expertise in modern C++, demonstrated through substantial hands-on delivery of production systems. 5+ years’ professional experience in software development. Experience developing robust, maintainable software in performance- or reliability-critical systems. Strong understanding of software architecture, object lifetime management, and debugging in complex, multi-component systems. Experience working in cross-disciplinary engineering teams (e.g., software, electronics, systems), contributing to design, integration, testing, and iterative development. Valuable Experience (Not Essential): Experience with embedded or real-time systems. Exposure to microcontrollers or hardware-adjacent software development. Familiarity with Linux-based systems or cross-compilation toolchains. Experience with scripting or tooling languages (e.g., Python) or application development in C#/.NET.
