As Technology Transformation Lead , you'll shape the future technology roadmap, influence strategic investment decisions, and drive innovation across cloud technologies, automation, data analytics and emerging AI capabilities. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, you'll lead a dedicated technology team while overseeing cyber security, systems performance, digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with senior leaders across Harbour Hospice, you'll help build digital capability, strengthen organisational resilience, and deliver practical technology solutions that make a genuine difference. Mo te tunga | About the role The Technology Transformation Lead is responsible for the overall direction, security and performance of Harbour Hospice's technology environment. You'll have accountability for technology strategy, cyber security, infrastructure, systems, service delivery, vendor management and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen data-driven decision making, enhance workforce capability and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose. Key accountabilities include: Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with organisational goals. Lead digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, automation, and data analytics Oversee IT infrastructure, clinical systems, and applications to ensure scalability, security, and reliability. Manage cyber security, data privacy, and IT risk, providing assurance to senior leadership. Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and digital enablement. Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and IT assets across their lifecycle. Lead and develop a small team, fostering collaboration and accountability. This full-time role reports to the Head of Commercial and Operations. You will work across all Harbour Hospice locations, with Hibiscus Hospice as your primary base. We're looking for a technology leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong operational delivery. You'll ideally have: Significant experience in IT leadership, technology management or digital transformation roles. Experience leading teams through change, growth or organisational transformation. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, cloud technologies and enterprise applications. Experience in cyber security, risk management and information privacy. Proven success managing vendors, budgets and technology service delivery. Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes Strong project management and prioritisation capability. The ability to translate technology into practical business outcomes. Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi principles and commitment to inclusivity. Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or the not-for-profit sector will set you apart, but is not a prerequisite.
