Job Description
Isometric Solutions – Red Beach, North Island Onsite Service Desk and End User Support Respond to, manage, and resolve onsite service desk tickets promptly and within agreed service levels (SLAs). Provide friendly, professional in-person, phone, and remote support to teaching staff, administration staff, and students. Troubleshoot the full range of hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to the Isometric team whereappropriate. Complete timesheets and service records accurately and on time. Systems and Network Adminsitration Install, configure, andmaintaincomputer hardware, software, operating systems, servers, networks, wireless infrastructure, printers, and AV equipment. Proactivelymonitorsystems, backups, and security,identifyingand addressing issues before they affect teaching and learning. Manage user accounts, devices, and access in line with school policy and good security practice. Escalate issues as required to the Isometric Service Desk Work with the Isometric Service Desk team to resolve escalated issues Review & Update Standard Operating Procedures Review and understand Standard Operating procedures. Update SOPs to match the Clients system design. Project Planning & Hardware Implementation Participate in all ICT projects at the school, from scoping and planning through to delivery. Identify areas that may require additional resources and escalated to the Operations Manager Working with the Isometric engineering team implement projects. dentify and assist in developing opportunities with the Client, either technical or sales related Engage with Operation Manager regularly, reporting on projects, activity, and achievements Knowledge Updates Attend Isometric developed training sessions Update Isometric documentation Customer Relationship Building Addressing Client questions and concerns about technical problems Meeting with Account Manager and Client to discuss identified needs Knowledge and Skill Requirements Extensive knowledge and experience of computer hardware systems Familiarity with general OS systems, office software etc. Microsoft Office 365 experience Knowledge of LAN and wireless networking Strong organisational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Able to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issue Previous work in a education environment an advantage NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
