Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher Mathematics and statistics 1MU Te Aute College is one of Aotearoa New Zealand's most historic state-integrated Māori Anglican boys' boarding schools. For more than 170 years, we have developed generations of Māori leaders who have made a lasting contribution to their communities and the nation. We are seeking an exceptional teacher of mathematics who is passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of young Māori men. This is an opportunity to teach with purpose—to inspire confidence, ignite curiosity and help shape the next generation of leaders. The successful applicant will be an engaging and innovative teacher who can deliver mathematics across Years 9–13, including NCEA Level 3. You will have high expectations for student achievement, build authentic relationships with rangatahi, and create learning environments where every student feels challenged, supported and capable of success. You will be a registered teacher with a sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and a commitment to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
