Gynaecology Physiotherapist New Zealand Government Auckland, North Island, NZ About the Role Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy Role Womens Health / Gynaecology Permanent, Part-time position (2 FTE, 40 hours/week per FTE) Te Whatu Ora HealthNew Zealand Waitematā We are looking for Advanced Clinicians inPelvicHealthPhysiotherapy to join our Womens Health service to deliver expert care and to support women affected byconditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain. This role will focus on providing first specialistpelvichealthassessments and physiotherapy treatment options for selected patients with the aim of improving access and reducing wait times to assessment, effective treatment pathway identification, and enhancing clinical outcomes and experiences for patients. Embedded within our collaborative Womens Health interdisciplinary team which includes Womens Health Consultants and Clinical Nurse Specialists you will work to ensure care is accessible, well-coordinated and tailored to each womens needs. You will contribute to developing Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and Womens Health services at Waitematā Key Responsibilities Provide expertpelvichealthphysiotherapy assessment and intervention to women with pelvic health presentations Collaborate closely with urology, gynaecology, colorectal surgeons, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and AlliedHealthcolleagues. Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit, and research. Work autonomously as well as within a team of experienced physiotherapists. Mentor, supervise, and support physiotherapists and students. Model patient centred and culturally safe practice, upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Regular monthly supervision and work perks. About You New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC). At least 6 years post-registration experience, including 2+ years in femalepelvichealth. Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the confidence to think on your feet and communicate clearly. Proven ability to lead and mentor within an interdisciplinary team, with experience in collaboration, service development, quality improvement, and leadership.
