Job Description
Advanced Personnel Services – Auckland, North Island Advanced Personnel Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Loader Driver to join our team in Auckland Central. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. As a Loader Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring that products reach their destinations on time and in perfect condition. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our supply chain and delivering excellent service to our clients. Key responsibilities Operate loading equipment safely and efficiently to load goods onto vehicles according to load plans and safety requirements Conduct pre-operation checks on vehicles and loading equipment to ensure they are in safe working order Drive vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety policies Transport goods to specified destinations, meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations Secure and stabilise loads appropriately to prevent damage during transit Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery notes, load sheets and vehicle inspection reports Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transport Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff and customers regarding deliveries Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to management Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient warehouse and transport operations Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times What we're looking for A valid full New Zealand driver's licence with a clean driving record Proven experience as a Loader Driver or similar role within transport and logistics Competency in operating loading equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in warehousing and transport Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet delivery deadlines Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and effectively Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude Attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation and record-keeping Reliability and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance #J-18808-Ljbffr
