MōteTūranga| About the role As aTechnical Consultant, you'llprovide consulting, thought leadership and practical skill to guide the implementation and operational management of specialist technologies and provide expert services delivery in line with strategic roadmaps. You'llplay a key role insupporting ASB'sAustracprogram— working across amodernisation and integration programmethat spansPega, Data, CRM, andenterprise-scale integration. You'llbe part of atight-knit, autonomous, multi-disciplinary teamof Principal Engineersdriving engineering excellenceacross ASB. Wework in agile waysandcontinuously grow our skillsto improve outcomes for our customers. We're looking for aseasoned Engineer or Architectwith experience inmodern tech environments at scale. You'll bringinitiative,problem-solving skills, and acollaborative leadership style. You'llhave: Proven experiencein business process management platforms (e.g.Pega, Appian, IBM Suite) Strong knowledge ofcontainerisation, APIs, andCI/CD for data workload management Advanced understanding of AI tooling and trends(e.g.generative AI, MLOps, agentic AI), especially within Pega Deep knowledge ofrisk, security, and governancein large organisations Expertise intransformational integration and delivery Stronginterpersonal and leadership skills— able touplift engineers and stakeholders Ability toswitch context,learn fast,build trust, andtake people on the journey Temahi ki ASB | Working for ASB ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
