Moment Booth NZ is one of New Zealand's fastest-growing premium photo booth companies, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Casual Event Assistant to help deliver amazing experiences at weddings, corporate events, school formals, birthdays and special occasions throughout Queenstown and the surrounding region. No two events are ever the same! What you'll be doing As our Event Assistant, you'll be responsible for representing the Moment Booth brand while ensuring every event runs smoothly. Your role will include: Setting up our premium photo booth before events. Welcoming and assisting guests throughout the event. Encouraging guests to have fun and make the most of the experience. Keeping the booth area clean, tidy and professional. Troubleshooting simple issues (full training provided). Packing down equipment and returning it to storage after the event. About you We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, confident and enjoys talking with people. Well presented and professional. Reliable and punctual. Comfortable working independently. Calm under pressure and able to solve problems. Available to work evenings and weekends. Physically capable of lifting and moving event equipment. A full New Zealand driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this role, as you'll be transporting yourself to and from our Queenstown storage hub and event venues. No previous photo booth experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know. Experience in hospitality, customer service or events is a bonus, but personality and reliability are what matter most. What we offer Casual, flexible work around your study or other commitments. Most work takes place on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and occasional weekdays depending on bookings.
