Junior Full-Stack Developer

ATOM Intelligence is a New Zealand company building vertical AI and data platforms for enterprise clients around the world. We deliver production data and AI systems across retail, FMCG, hospitality, luxury, and healthcare. Auckland is our R&D centre, and we are building a top-tier technical team here to drive the engineering and product work behind everything we ship. About the role You will work across our platform stack - backend services, web applications, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure - shipping features that power real client delivery. You will collaborate closely with our Auckland and Shanghai teams, own features end to end, and grow into more senior technical responsibility over time. This is a permanent, fully onsite role based at our North Shore, Auckland office (72 Taharoto Road, Takapuna) - no hybrid or remote arrangements. Hard requirements 1-3 years of professional software development experience Fluent in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology - academic transcript required at application Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework: React, Angular, or Vue Solid SQL skills, including writing and optimising non-trivial queries Cloud development experience - Azure preferred, but AWS or Google Cloud also welcome Able to work fully onsite at our North Shore, Auckland office Nice to have Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of eventing and messaging patterns (queues, pub/sub, event-driven architectures) Exposure to data warehousing concepts, or hands-on experience with a warehouse platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, ClickHouse, etc.) Postgraduate degree (Honours, Master's, or PhD) in a relevant field What we offer Real client delivery from day one - no sandbox projects Work alongside top engineering talent in our Auckland R&D centre Direct mentorship from senior engineers and the founding team A clear pathway from delivery engineer into platform, AI, or tech lead tracks #J-18808-Ljbffr
